This motorhome has been custom
made by Devon conversions to accommodate a wheelchair in the rear
section of the motorhome.
This 2 motorhome has the benefit
of a Ford automatic transmission together with power steering.
The Devon has a forward lounge
and sleeping area with the kitchen at the rear. The lounge consists of
two forward facing rear seats (both with three point seatbelts) and cab
seats that both swivel round to make the dinette.
Both front and rear seats lay flat
to make up two single beds,
leaving an aisle from the dashboard to the tailgate. This allows access
to the kitchen, and out through the rear tailgate even when the
beds are made up.
The kitchen comes fully equipped
with stainless steel two burner hob and grill, matching sink and 240v
microwave. There is an electric compressor fridge/freezer (this
means just switch it on and forget it), auxiliary battery, electric
hookup point and charger. Opposite this area there are numerous cupboards
with one which is designed to accommodate a porta potti.
