A-class’s sit at the pinnacle of motorhomes. Built from the chassis up, the bodywork means interior space is optimised, with all-round insulation and features like drop-down overcab beds. These really are the “grand tourers” of the motorhome world. The Pegaso’s external design is up-to-date, displaying all the styling notes of a modern, entry-level A-class, with its expected acreage of white broken up to good effect by a grey grille and road lights surrounds, plus similarly hued skirts. Those captain’s style cab seats, too, should be ideal for long distance journeys and enjoying the superior views out you get from an A-class, thanks largely to that panoramic windscreen. Park up and they’re easily swivelled to complete a lounge that also comprises an L-shaped settee plus a nearside inward-facing settee. It’s the whitest of leather-style upholstery here, but Roller Teams insists it’s particularly easy to clean when the almost inevitable mud etc gets in. The layout is such, though, that’s it’s fairly easy to walk from the cab area all the way to the bedroom at the back. Height adjustment for the island bed means you can use the space below for all manner of storage, right up to the full garage if you want to carry your bikes and more onboard. The bed is flanked by his and hers wardrobes and handy ledges, plus there are a couple of lockers set high overhead. There are also the requisite facilities for watching TV from this bed (there’s similar in the lounge, too). At the foot of the bed, washroom facilities extend across the full width of the vehicle. A countertop basin takes the central location, with a shower cubicle (noticeably on the wheel arch) on the nearside and swivel-bowl toilet offside. There’s privacy when you want it thanks to three sliding dividing doors/screens. Moving forward, the L-shape for the kitchen unit means storage and worktop space is optimised. In that respect, the combined oven and grill makes sense, while hob cooking is confined to three gas rings. The circular sink adjacent compromises worktop space, but there’s a good array of storage .
